BuellerBot — Automate Attendance and Check-ins

BuellerBot is an automated attendance response scripts for virtual students and remote professionals

BuellerBot is an automation tool designed to handle repetitive check-ins and attendance monitoring tasks for online environments. It specifically serves remote students and professionals who need to maintain an active presence in digital classrooms or virtual meeting spaces without constant manual intervention. By automating the "here" response, BuellerBot ensures users are never marked absent during long sessions. The primary function of BuellerBot is to detect specific keywords or prompts within a chat interface and trigger a pre-set response. This allows users to step away from their screens for brief periods while remaining technically engaged in the session. It operates through a simple script-based logic that monitors the active window for trigger phrases commonly used by instructors or moderators. Business owners can find more technical productivity solutions like this on surfai.app to streamline their daily workflows. Use cases include managing presence in mandatory training seminars, maintaining activity in online lecture series, and ensuring connectivity during long-form community webinars. The tool is open-source and provides a transparent way for users to customize their response triggers based on the specific platform being used. It is particularly useful for those balancing multiple simultaneous digital responsibilities. BuellerBot is available as a free open-source project on GitHub, allowing anyone to download and modify the code. There are no subscription fees or hidden costs, making it an accessible utility for anyone with basic technical knowledge.
