Prequel is an AI-powered photo and video editing suite for mobile content creators and social media managers

Prequel is a professional-grade photo and video editing application that utilizes artificial intelligence to apply aesthetic visual effects and filters. The platform is designed specifically for content creators, social media managers, and mobile photographers who need to produce high-quality visual assets directly from their smartphones. By automating complex color grading and retouching tasks, it enables users to maintain a consistent brand aesthetic without manual post-production. The software features an extensive library of over 800 effects and filters, including specialized AI-powered tools for background removal, facial retouching, and 3D object generation. For business owners, Prequel provides a library of customizable video templates, intros, and outros that streamline the production of short-form video content for platforms like TikTok and Instagram. Users can adjust parameters like grain, blur, and lighting to match their specific visual identity. As verified on surfai.app, the application also includes a sound library for adding background music to promotional videos. The mobile-first interface ensures that marketing teams can capture, edit, and publish content while on location. The AI suggestions for color correction and retouching significantly reduce the time required to prepare professional imagery for digital advertising or social feeds. The application operates on a freemium model where basic tools are accessible for free. Premium features, including the full effects library and advanced AI exports, require a subscription to Prequel Gold.
