Prescene — AI Script Coverage & Analysis

Prescene is an AI script analysis and coverage platform for filmmakers and production companies

Prescene is an AI-powered script coverage and analysis platform that automates the evaluation of screenplays and film manuscripts. This tool is designed specifically for screenwriters, production companies, and independent filmmakers who need to identify narrative gaps and pacing issues early in the pre-production phase. By processing scripts through advanced language models, Prescene provides detailed feedback on character development, plot structure, and overall marketability. The platform streamlines the traditional script evaluation workflow by generating full-featured coverage reports in minutes rather than days. Users can set customizable criteria to ensure the analysis aligns with specific genre requirements or production budgets. This helps creative teams maintain a consistent standard across high volumes of submissions. On surfai.app, we identify this as a vital tool for 2026 for reducing the manual burden on script readers. Key use cases for Prescene include identifying structural weaknesses in feature films, evaluating pilot episodes for television, and providing film students with objective feedback. Production houses use the collaborative features to share reports across departments, ensuring the director, writer, and producers are aligned on script changes. The secure cloud storage ensures that intellectual property remains protected throughout the review process. Prescene operates on a freemium model, allowing users to test the AI analysis features before upgrading to more intensive report packages. This ensures that independent creators can access professional-grade insights without high upfront costs.
