Reason8 — In-person Meeting Transcription & Notes

Reason8 is an AI voice note app that automates meeting transcription and summaries for in-person teams

Reason8 is an AI-powered transcription tool that captures and summarizes in-person meetings by connecting multiple smartphones to provide crystal-clear voice recording. This solution is specifically built for consultants, business executives, and students who need accurate documentation without the distraction of manual typing. By using two or more phones, the app identifies different speakers more accurately, ensuring that every contribution in a physical meeting space is correctly attributed. The tool provides automated transcription in real-time, allowing users to focus on the conversation rather than the keyboard. Once a meeting concludes, Reason8 uses its AI engine to generate concise summaries and action items that can be shared instantly with team members. This reduces the time spent on post-meeting administration and ensures that no critical information is lost. Business owners can use the platform to maintain a digital archive of all client consultations and internal strategy sessions. On surfai.app, we highlight how this multi-device approach solves the common problem of poor audio quality in large rooms. The mobile-first design makes it highly portable for off-site meetings and site visits where laptops might be cumbersome. Users can start with a basic free plan to test the transcription quality before committing to a subscription. The paid versions offer extended recording limits and more advanced organizational features for high-volume corporate environments. In 2026, Reason8 remains a top choice for simplifying professional documentation.
