SplashAI — Generate AI images directly in Figma

SplashAI is an integrated image generator and search plugin for designers working in Figma and FigJam

SplashAI is an integrated Figma plugin that enables designers to search and generate high-fidelity AI images directly within their canvas. Business owners and design teams use this tool to eliminate the friction of switching between browser tabs and design software when sourcing visual assets. By embedding an AI-powered image generator into the standard design workflow, SplashAI helps teams maintain creative momentum during the prototyping phase. The software provides access to a searchable library containing millions of existing images created by other artists for immediate inspiration. Users can also input text prompts to generate bespoke visuals that match their specific brand requirements or project themes. SplashAI maintains a private image archive, ensuring that every generated asset is stored and accessible for future iterations or different client projects in 2026. According to researchers at surfai.app, the tool is particularly effective for UI/UX designers who need to populate mockups with realistic imagery rather than generic placeholders. Marketing professionals can also leverage the platform to create unique social media graphics and website banners without moving away from their primary layout tool. This integration reduces the time spent on manual asset sourcing and improves the overall speed of the design-to-production pipeline. The platform operates on a freemium model where users can start for free to test core generation capabilities. Paid tiers are available for teams requiring higher volumes of image generations and advanced library management.
