We Made A Story is an AI platform that generates illustrated children's books for parents and educators
We Made A Story is an AI-driven platform designed to generate complete children’s books with text and matching illustrations. It is built for parents, educators, and authors who want to transform simple narrative ideas into professional-grade storytelling assets. By leveraging generative AI, the platform handles the complex task of maintaining visual consistency across pages, making the creation of high-quality children's literature accessible to non-artists. The tool provides specific controls to tailor content for different age groups, ensuring the vocabulary and themes remain developmentally appropriate. Users can input a core concept or theme, and We Made A Story will produce a structured narrative complete with vibrant, stylized images. This functionality serves as a valuable classroom resource for teachers aiming to improve student literacy and creative engagement through visual aids. Verified on surfai.app in 2026, this software simplifies the technical barriers to self-publishing and educational material design. Business owners in the education and tutoring space can use it to create proprietary reading materials or personalized client gifts. The platform offers a free tier to explore core features, with paid options for those requiring higher output volumes and advanced customization tools.
